Gymshark’s Celebration of Progress marked one of the most significant in-person brand activations since the pandemic, bringing together fitness, fashion, and community in a transformative two-day event at City Market Social House in DTLA.

CHALLENGE:

As Gymshark’s first large-scale U.S. activation post-pandemic, the event needed to balance safety with high energy, offering an immersive and interactive experience that showcased the Whitney Simmons collaboration while fostering community engagement.

INSIGHT:

Gymshark wanted this event to be more than just a product launch, it had to embody Whitney Simmons' philosophy of growth, effort, and progress. Every design element, from the venue’s soaring arches to inspirational messaging, was curated to create an uplifting and empowering environment.

SOLUTION & RESULTS:

  • Designed and built a fully immersive retail experience, featuring custom-fabricated fixtures and circular dressing rooms for seamless shopping.

  • Created an interactive central hub with striking design elements, including soaring arches, peek-a-boo windows, and hanging bubble chairs, to foster engagement.

  • Hosted panel discussions with Whitney Simmons and guests, covering body positivity, mental health, and fitness, reinforcing the event’s core message.

  • Implemented interactive activations, from icebreaker networking moments to community-driven activities, enhancing the attendee experience.

  • Captured content throughout the event for long-term brand storytelling, ensuring the experience extended beyond the activation itself.
