CHALLENGE:

eBay tapped Stoelt Productions to create a 2,500 sq. ft. interactive house at ComplexCon, showcasing sneakers, streetwear, luxury, and collectibles. The challenge was designing an immersive, multi-room activation that highlighted eBay’s product categories in a seamless, visually striking, and interactive way while managing a tight five-day build timeline.

INSIGHT:

Consumers engage best with brands when interacting with products in an immersive environment. We recreated familiar home spaces— a bedroom, office, laundry room, game room, and living room—to showcase eBay’s diverse offerings in a way that resonated with collectors and shoppers.

SOLUTION & RESULTS:

  • Designed and fabricated a five-room immersive experience, each space themed by eBay’s key product categories.

  • Integrated interactive elements, including a sneaker tunnel, luxury handbag ball pit, vintage arcade games, and live-streamed auctions.

  • Used bold brand colors and LED-lit displays to create a surreal, instantly recognizable eBay experience.

  • Completed the entire build in five days, from flooring and lighting to fabrication and final setup.

  • Elevated eBay’s presence as the title sponsor of ComplexCon, reinforcing its marketplace leadership in authenticated fashion and collectibles.
