M·A·C Cosmetics honored legendary fashion illustrator Antonio Lopez with a striking limited-edition collection launch and an immersive store installation, transforming the space into a tribute to his iconic work. The collection, inspired by Lopez’s bold artistry, featured eye, lip, and face palettes, along with accessories adorned with his vibrant illustrations. The campaign was fronted by Jerry Hall, Pat Cleveland, and Marisa Berenson, three of Lopez’s longtime muses, whose careers he helped elevate. Their involvement underscored the collection’s deep connection to Lopez’s legacy and the glamour of the 1970s and 1980s fashion scene.

To bring Lopez’s signature aesthetic to life, Stoelt Productions crafted a fully immersive retail environment, seamlessly blending fashion, beauty, and art. The store was wrapped in Lopez’s artwork from floor to ceiling, featuring draping banners, large-scale murals, and covered storefront windows, creating a 360-degree visual experience. Custom-built truss structures supported strategic lighting and suspended artwork, while elevated product displays seamlessly integrated the collection into the space. This semi-permanent installation extended beyond the launch, offering visitors a prolonged opportunity to engage with the world of Antonio Lopez.
