Known for her groundbreaking work with Vivienne Westwood, Alexander McQueen, W Magazine, and Lady Gaga, Garland guided attendees through a retrospective of her most iconic fashion, editorial, and runway makeup looks. The event showcased live demonstrations, where she re-created several of her signature designs while sharing expert insights, tips, and behind-the-scenes stories from her career. The audience, which included makeup artists, photographers, and industry professionals, had the rare opportunity to learn directly from one of the most influential figures in modern beauty.
Stoelt Productions transformed Milk Studios into a runway-inspired presentation space, fabricating a custom-built runway with elevated plinth-like boxes for models to stand on, allowing attendees a 360-degree view of Garland’s work. A stage was constructed for M·A·C’s professional makeup artists, where monitors displayed real-time close-ups of Garland’s techniques, ensuring every detail was visible to the audience. Truss structures and stage lighting were installed to illuminate both the runway and demonstration area, creating a polished and professional atmosphere. The master class provided an exclusive opportunity for attendees to engage with Garland’s artistry, gain invaluable industry knowledge, and celebrate the cutting-edge creativity that defines M·A·C Cosmetics.
